Racing for Wildlife Events

Racing for Wildlife has a number of events planned this year. These will give racing fans and families the chance to join Ryan Newman in raising awareness and funds to protect important wildlife habitat and recreation areas for public enjoyment. Check back often for dates and locations.

2010

June 11, 2010 - Racing for Wildlife Hosts Nature and Commerce Event at MIS

This event highlighted the efforts of The Conservation Fund and local organizations to promote healthier communities by developing a stronger connection between the state recreation areas and a variety of other outdoor pursuits and the surrounding communities. Read More >>

 

June 11, 2010 - Mike Kile Wins 2010 Racing For Wildlife 200

Mikey Kile took the checkered flag in the Racing for Wildlife 200, the third June ARCA race at Michigan International Speedway (MIS) sponsored by Racing for Wildlife. Racing for Wildlife continues its initiative to get children outdoors in the nearby Waterloo Recreation area and to promote connections between natural areas and local communities. Read More >>

 

2009

October 30, 2009 – Racing for Wildlife Celebrates Completion of Talladega Project

The Conservation Fund joined NASCAR driver Ryan Newman, NASCAR legend Bobby Allison, the U.S. Forest Service and representatives of Alabama’s congressional delegation to announce the completion of a Racing for Wildlife project that preserves more than 1,100 acres in the Talladega National Forest. June 12, 2009 - Auction Winners Participate in Racing For Wildlife 200 Race Day Events

Several opportunities to participate in the June 12, 2009 Racing for Wildlife 200 ARCA/RE/MAX race activities at Michigan International Speedway were auctioned off on the NASCAR Foundation’s website, with proceeds going to Racing for Wildlife’s work in the nearby Waterloo Recreation Area.  Read more >>

 

June 12, 2009 - Racing for Wildlife 200

On Friday, June 12, 2009, Racing for Wildlife sponsored its second June ARCA race at Michigan International Speedway (MIS) – the Racing for Wildlife 200. The race is a joint venture of MIS with The Conservation Fund and the Ryan Newman Foundation, which formed Racing for Wildlife in 2007.  Read more >>

Lap two of Racing for Wildlife is kicked off by Ryan Newman and NASCAR legend Bobby Allison at Talladega Superspeedway.
